Have More Fun on the Beach Forever!

What – Sand is really great stuff, and there are so many cool things you can do with it when you go to the beach. Sandcamp is a FREE, 5 days a week activity where you can go to learn about all the ways to have more fun on the beach forever.
(Note: this is NOT a sandcastle lesson — we would have to charge you for that! — but you will definitely learn things in Sandcamp that will make your future sandcastles more amazing 😉
When 5:00 PM Monday-Friday, June 1 – Aug. 14 (skipping the week of July 4)
Where South Padre Island Public Beach Access #16 (“Neptune Circle”)
Who Anyone and everyone, though children must be accompanied by an adult
How long will a Sand Camp session last? 20-60 minutes
Cost Free! (But tips & donations gladly accepted on-site or on-line.)
What to bring? We will provide some equipment, but “campers” should try to come prepared with normal beach supplies: sunblock, drinking water, plastic buckets and shovels etc.
Parking is limited. If possible, stroll on down the beach or take the free Island Metro
More: A typical sandcastle lesson covers lots of territory in an hour. With SandCamp, we attempt to break these skills down into individual components. Subjects will vary, according to the whims of the the instructors, but all of them will be fun, educational and FREE!
