Join us at Romero Castle Garden Sanctuary for a week of nature, creativity, and community as we celebrate our beloved sulcata tortoise, Sir George.
🌿 FREE Spring Break Programs

Morning Sessions: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Evening Sessions: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Families are invited to enjoy free turtle-shaped pancakes for breakfast and light snacks while exploring activities focused on nature, gardening, sustainability, wildlife education, and creative arts.
✨ Many of the free programs offered throughout the week are made possible through the generous support of Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, whose commitment to community wellness helps create opportunities like this for families in our region.
🐢 Community Birthday Bash

🎬 Ninja Turtle Movie Screening at 7:45PM
🌿 Dress Theme: Wear shades of brown and green to celebrate our turtle friends and the natural world.
🐢 Turtle Meet & Greet
Bring your turtles so Sir George can meet other members of his kingdom.
🥗 Community Salad Potluck
Bring your favorite salad topping so we can build a giant salad bar and eat greens like Sir George.
♻️ Community Donation Drive
Instead of gifts, we invite guests to bring gently used clothing, household items, hygiene items, baby essentials, or shoes to support Fundación Amor Infinito. This helps keep good items out of the landfill while supporting families in our community.
🛍 Nature & Turtle Market featuring artists, plants, crafts, and community organizations.
🍔 The Turtle Cove Snack Bar will be open during the birthday bash, with proceeds helping us continue offering free programs for families throughout the year.
